Cindy Karava

I have been with Dr. Castro from the beginning. I was his dental assistant when he opened his doors in 2003. Now I am the Office Manager and am usually the voice on the other end of the phone when you call to schedule an appointment. I wear many hats in the office, but what I enjoy most is greeting patients when they arrive and seeing them leave the office satisfied.

We have a wonderful team here at Paradise Dental and enjoy working together to provide our patients with the best service possible. We love to help our patients change their lives by improving their dental health and enhancing their smiles. After spending many years beside a dental chair, I understand the anxiety patients may feel and if you need some reassurance through a difficult procedure… I am always ready to hold a hand. I am very much a family person, so in my spare time, you will find me with my husband and son doing one of our favorite things - fishing!

Margie Gennuso-Duquette

I have been working in the dental field since 1992. In 1999, I graduated from St. Petersburg Junior College where I received my degree as a Registered Dental Hygienist. I joined Dr. Castro’s practice in 2004 as his full-time hygienist. My goal is to keep you comfortable while providing you with the best care during your hygiene appointment.

In my spare time, I like reading and spending time with my family. We enjoy camping and outdoor activities.

Lisa Chin

I have been working as a dental assistant and with Dr. Castro since 2004. I am usually in the treatment rooms working with Dr. Castro, but I can also be found up at the front desk doing anything I can to help.

I enjoy reading, watching movies and sometimes just staying at home with my four cats.

Trisha Marsh

I have been working in the dental profession since 1988. I joined Dr. Castro’s team as a dental assistant almost 3 years ago. I have lived in the Palmetto/Ellenton area for over 20 years.

In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, and reading.

Teresa Hughes

After 25 years in the dental hygiene profession, I still feel like it is an amazing career.  I have been in the Bradenton area for over 28 years and graduated from St. Petersburg Junion College in 1986 with a degree in dental hygiene.  I am the newest member of the team here, but already feel at home.  Teaching patients about homecare, building relationships, and making patients feel good about their teeth are all rewarding aspects of dental hygiene that remind me all the time of why I chose this profession.

My family is a busy one.  We have three teenagers that keep me busy during my spare time.  We love movies, drag racing, the sunshine, and any menu that doesn't require cooking or clean-up!

Nancy Castro

My role at Paradise Dental is multi-faceted. I handle the bookkeeping, insurance claim filing, referral program, and marketing, but you won’t often see me in the office when you come for a visit as I do most of my work at home where I can fit it in between my other job as Dr. Castro’s wife and mother to our two children.

I graduated from the United States Air Force Academy and have two Masters Degrees in Business from Troy State University and George Washington University. After serving as an officer in the Air Force for 13 years, I am enjoying setting down roots, raising a family, and building a successful practice with my husband. My free time is usually filled with activities at church, scrapbooking, reading, and whatever new creative project I have decided to take on. I have also tried to utilize my Air Force disaster preparedness background by serving as a member of the Lakewood Ranch CERT and the Manatee County chapter of Network of Hope.

Catalina Castro

I am 9 years old and attend Willis Elementary. My job at Paradise Dental is to help my Dad pick out the toys for the treasure box for all of his patients who are girls.

In my spare time I enjoy playing with my friends and organizing my room.

Colin Castro

I am 8 years old and attend Willis Elementary. My job at Paradise Dental is to help my Dad pick out the toys for the treasure box for all of his patients who are boys.

In my spare time I enjoy playing video games and playing soccer.
